The second meeting of the Symbiotic project took place on November 11, 2015, at Aarhus University’s premises in Aarhus, Denmark. The five consortium partners, plus the supporting organisation INOVA+, met to discuss the work done since the start of the project, the plans for the next six months, and debate the open technical points.
The technical discussions allowed to settle various open points deemed vital to enable work to proceed in the next. This includes deciding the maximum particle size the biosensor should target, how the final device will display its findings to the user, and measures to reduce work risk by exploring alternative options.
The meeting concluded on late afternoon, with all the primary points need to continue work being agreed upon. It was also agreed that a new consortium meeting will take place on May 17 at partner Imperial College’s premises, in London.
